Five Minute Ice Cream

This is a quick way to make delicious ice cream without compromising quality.  You can use any frozen fruit in place of the strawberries.  I think I'll try peach next or a combination of berries.  This is a sure way to WOW company who drop by.
  Recipe serves four.

Five Minute Ice Cream

1 (10 ounce) package unsweetened frozen strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup HEAVY cream

Combine the frozen strawberries and sugar in a food processor or blender. I use a processor.  Process until the fruit is roughly chopped.  With the processor running, slowly pour in the heavy cream until fully incorporated.  You may have to scrape down the bowl once. Serve immediately, or if you prefer your ice cream more firm put in the freezer ahead of time.  Can be frozen for up to one week.

Serves four.
