Spinach Smoothie


This smoothie is loaded with nutrients and antioxidants.
If you are thinking, spinach in my smoothie-NOT. No need
 to fret because you can't taste it at all. It's a good
 way to get leafy greens into your diet magically.


Ingredients:
1 cup spinach (lightly packed)
3 large strawberries (stem removed, sliced)
1 small banana (sliced)
1/2 cup FROZEN blueberries
1 small orange (peeled and quartered)

Add all ingredients into a blender or cup for immersion blender.
 Blend until smooth. Enjoy.

Hey Kathy! This smoothie looks great! Lately I have heard a lot about people putting kale into their smoothies. Do you think you could sub the spinach for kale on this recipe?

I don't know how kale would be in a blender or with an immersion blender as it is much thicker than spinach. I have also heard it is so healthy for you and have wanted to try it in my Juice Man Juicer. As far as taste I think it has a stronger flavor than spinach. Try it.
