This is super nutrition at it's best. Love this smoothie. I usually peel, slice and then freeze banana slices on a cookie sheet and then bag them. I keep them on hand for smoothies. I found out they keep without turning dark for about two weeks. I will even go in and grab a few slices for a snack. Great for kids. As I am typing this a thought comes to mind, mini frozen banana bites. Dip half of the slice in chocolate and then freeze. Not as healthy as the smoothie, but a great thought.
1 apple, peeled and cut into chunks
1/2 cup frozen banana slices
2 cups baby spinach
1 orange, peeled and cut into chunks
1 tablespoon honey
2-4 ice cubes or 1/4 cup or so crushed ice
Add all ingredients to blender. May have to stop blender and mix a little depending on how good your blender is. I usually put the wetter ingredients on the bottom.
