Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is a really easy recipe and comes together very quickly. It's a soft yet chewy cookie that is oh so yummy. It is also a great alternative to the chocolate chip cookie and can be eaten any time of the year. As I was making these I thought you could even put a spin on them and add some fine orange zest. Cranberries and orange zest are a great combination and would make a nice spring or summertime cookie.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 Tablespoons cream or whole milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup Craisins
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars with mixer until light and fluffy. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla and mix until creamed. Add flour, baking soda and salt and blend until totally mixed together. Add craisins and white chocolate chips.
Scoop tablespoon size mounds on to baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake on 375 degrees F. for 10-12 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
