Banana Mango Smoothie

O.K., this is sometimes how we operate around here. I had a frozen banana in the freezer (which is where I put them when they get to overripe for my taste) and I had an almost overripe mango sitting on the counter. I need to add more potassium to my diet so what can I make for breakfast? I came up with this smoothie. I might also add that I usually have oatmeal for breakfast so I had to add oatmeal to the smoothie which I have never done before. I put it all in a blender with some skim milk and ice cubes and super blended it and voila, the Banana Mango Smoothie. Actually it was delicious and refreshing for this summer morning and I will definitely make it again. I might even try coconut milk instead of skim milk with a dash of fresh from the bee honey next time (my daughter and son-in-law have bees). You can never have to much nutrition in your diet.

Ingredients:
1 frozen banana, sliced
1 large mango, peeled and chopped
1/3 cup oatmeal (dry, uncooked)
3/4 cup skim milk
5 or so ice cubes

Add all ingredients into blender and mix until smooth.

Yummy!!! I have a banana in the freeze, waiting for my mango to ripen. So, this is uncooked oats, right?
