Monterey Jack Cheese Ball

This is sure to be a hit for your New Years Eve festivities.

I have been making this cheese ball for years and it's always a winner and I rarely go home with any left over. It's a good make ahead appetizer and very easy to put together. Here's a tip, you could make two balls out of this recipe and it would also make a great neighbor gift for next Christmas. Add a small box of crackers and you are good to go.

Ingredients
12 ounces cream cheese (that's 1 1/2 boxes)
2 cups grated monterey jack cheese
2 green onions, thin sliced (include most of the greens)
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans (to roll cheese ball in)

Directions
Let your cheeses sit out for a while to get soft.

Put first four ingredients in bowl and blend together. Mold into a ball and roll into chopped pecans. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in fridge to set up. There now isn't that easy.

This is also one of my other favorite cheese balls. sugarrush.blogspot.com/2013/12/pineapple-cheese-ball.html
