Berry NICE Cream

Give Berry Nice Cream a chance, it's much healthier! It's dairy free with no added sugar, artificial flavor, or preservatives.  The options are endless as far as the fruits you can use in place of the strawberries and blueberries but you must use the bananas and non dairy milk.

If you're not opposed you can even add a few shavings of grated dark chocolate. Let your imagination go wild.

Ingredients:

3 cups strawberries (thick sliced and frozen)

2 medium bananas (thick sliced and frozen)

1 cup frozen blueberries

3/4 cup cold unsweetened almond milk or other dairy free milk or nut milk.

Directions:

Slice and arrange on a pan your strawberries and bananas in a single layer. If you have fresh blueberries add those to the pan also. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 3 hours.

When fruit is frozen add to food processor with your almond milk and blend for a minute or two. You may need to scrape down your sides a few times and continue blending. Blend until it is smooth.

Add nice cream to an air tight container. You can also use a loaf pan but you need to put a piece of waxed paper on top and then wrap the whole loaf pan with plastic wrap so you don't have ice crystals forming.

Freeze for 2-3 hours.

Tip: If you keep leftovers in the freezer to long you will have to let it sit out for a while before you eat it as it will get to hard.
